Came to eat here a few years ago after my Alaska Cruise with my uncle. The seafood was unforgettable. Service was excellent.  I had a 7 hour layer in Vancouver so my friend and i decided to head out for dinner and make it back for our red eye flight. Restuarant is about 15-20 from airport. We ordered the blanched live shrimp with a scallion and ginger soy dip... so yummy! We also order a 3 lb dungunese crab deep fried with salty egg yolk... wow!!! Out of this world. Stirred fried pea pod leaves with garlic. Let me tell you... it's a complete meal.  We got free dessert which was tapioca, taro, sweet potatoes with coconut milk.  Ahhh can't get enough. Our bellies were definitely full and it made our flight home much more relax on the plane.  Would definitely visit again when in Vancouver.

Came over to eat their dinner special. Pretty cheap combos here.

Parking is plentiful in the lot downstairs below the building. However, be careful of the pillars. There are an awful lot of scrape marks all over them.

Inside is nice but a bit dated. Looks like something out of the 1990s. Pretty sure they haven't renovated since I ate here as a kid.

    Staff were friendly. No complaints.

The Peking duck here is quite good. Nice crisp pieces, and the skins don't stick together like some other places. We had a few other dishes (see photos) and everything was good. With that said, nothing really stuck out for the other dishes. But hey, nothing wrong with that. And this place is a good deal for the food.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Vancouver!!!!!

Great service always but make sure you make reservations way in advance since they get quite busy!

If you are looking for delicious traditional Chinese cuisine, this is the restaurant for you. Dinner may take a few hours depending what you order.  But don't worry, they have a good wine list to keep you company!

I always stop by here for dinner at least once every time I'm in town!!!  Pricey- yes. Worth it - ABSOLUTELY.

Make sure you get the Peking Duck, and the Crab!!

Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had the dinner for 6 with Peking duck.

Every dish had great flavour and the quality was there. The lobster, fried chicken and duck (duh!) were my favourite dishes of the night.

    Service was great and attentive.

It's quite pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants, however I get it - location and quality. Our bill came to about $335 including tip for dinner for 6.

I've been to a couple Chinese restaurants and I'm used to the servers not really giving a crap about you. These kinds of restaurants only really care about turn over and your money.

However, this particular restaurant has got to be one of the worst when it comes to service. I'm giving it one star for the sui mai and that's it. We came in on a Friday at lunch for a table of 8. One of the servers asked us if we had a reservation and we said no. She gave a very audible exasperate sigh and said they're fully booked. They managed to push some tables together (okay you can't tell me you were fully booked if you were able to find room for us, you liars).

My coworkers have never had dim sum and two of them were a little hesitant with the menu. Fair enough. We were deciding on the menu when the same rude server came to us and I sh*t you not, her exact words were "ORDER NOW. WE'RE VERY BUSY."

The restaurant isn't even full!! I've been a server before so I know the stress that comes with commanding tables but that woman was out of line. Unfortunately, my coworkers were all too nervous to even ask for water and in the end, it was another server, an older small man, who finished our table. He accidentally spilled ginger ale on me but he apologized profusely (brownie points, not his fault, no one died!!).

People, don't even bother looking here twice. Go to Burnaby Palace on Boundary and Grandview, where you'll not only experience Chinese food catered to Western palettes or those who aren't used to the cuisine, but  you'll be treated with respect (and they will actually remember you if you become a regular!).
